# Access · Request & approve

Standard access requests let prospective developers raise their hand for sandbox credentials. Calls require an authenticated admin token and return a pending request that can later be approved.

Pair this with [`POST /access/developer/accept`](/api-reference/introduction) to promote a user into the developer program, and `GET /access/me` so callers can introspect their current grants.
